CLA USA Marketing is committed to our independent agent’s growth and success. In addition to our leads program and agent incentive trip, we are adding our new “Pillars of Success” program. This program incents production and reimburses agents for marketing and sales expenses.

We believe that being a strong partner with our agents is just as important as the products we offer. We also believe the more you earn the more benefits you should receive. Therefore, continuing our mission of support, education and council we add this invaluable program to our portfolio of services for our agents.

Program Details:
  • Enrollment in the program is immediate. Agents who place their first piece of business with CLA USA Marketing are enrolled.
  • This program is for individual agents only. Agencies must receive preapproval for program participation.
  • Reimbursement dollars must be used for marketing, sales and business development.
    • Mailers
    • Seminars
    • Software (installment and annual fees)
    • Web development (initial investment)
    • Advertising
    • Lead programs (non – CLA USA Marketing program)
  • This is a cumulative benefit program; agents receive account credit at each level.
  • Agents must have contracted with three carriers to participate in the program.
  • Qualifying products.
    • Fixed Annuities (excluding SPIA’s)
    • Life Insurance (target premium only)
    • Long Term Care Insurance
  • Qualifications Levels
    • Pillar I - Agent reaches 250,000 paid premium - $250 credit to the agent’s account
    • Pillar II - Agent reaches 500,000 paid premium - $350 credit to the agent’s account
    • Pillar III - Agent reaches 750,000 paid premium - $450 credit to the agent’s account
    • Pillar IV - Agent reaches 1,000,000 paid premium - $500 credit to the agent’s account
  • Program rules
    • Each credited amount must be used within 90 days. The amount is credited to the agent’s account within 5 days of the premium being paid. There is urgency to using these dollars.
    • These funds cannot be used with other CLA USA Marketing programs.
    • This program is a reimbursement program. Agents must submit valid receipts for reimbursement. Cash reimbursement is prohibited.
  • Premium Qualification
    • Annuity Premium is dollar for dollar.
    • Target life premium is 10 credits for every $1 of premium. Excess life premium is dollar for dollar.
    • Long Term Care premium is 5 credits for every $1 of premium.
  • Qualification (Second year and beyond)
    • Once our agent qualifies at Pillar IV they stay at that level for the following program year. They also have increased credit amounts for Pillar I, II and III. Example, agent reaches Pillar IV anytime during the first year of the program, agent is coded at Pillar IV for the next year in the program. In the second year of the program once our agent reaches 250,000 in paid premium they are credited $250 plus an additional $250 giving them a $500 credit. Once our agent reaches 500,000 in paid premium they are credited $350 plus an additional $150 giving them a $500 credit. When they reach 750,000 in paid premium they are credited $450 plus an additional $50 giving them a $500 credit. Therefore if our agent pays for 1,000,000 in year one they stay at that level for year two. Agents receive a credit to their account of $1,500 in year one at 1,000,000. In the second year if the reach 1,000,000 they can receive a credit to their account of up to $2,000.

Agents need to be current on all indebtedness before their account can be credited. Agents with a Vector will not be eligible to participate in the program. This program is designed for agents affiliated with CLA USA Marketing, LLC. CLA USA Marketing, LLC reserves the right to terminate this program at any time.

All new business must be submitted to CLA USA Marketing new business team for proper credit.
