Charles A. Loper Jr.
Founder & Chairman

After attending Shepherds’ College in WV, Charles spent time with the United States Navy in Pensacola, Florida as well as Pearl Harbor.

Charles entered the insurance industry in Texas with Lincoln National and Southwestern Life in 1984 as an agent and as an agent he realized his deep passion for helping agents and customers reach their personal and professional goals. This passion is what led Charles in 1992 to create CLA USA, Inc. with his son Chip. Together they built CLA USA, Inc. into a premiere financial services firm. He believes in delivering top quality products and services to our agents and customers. Using this philosophy CLA USA, Inc., has grown into a financial services firm that currently services over 40,000 customers.

Charles and his wife of more than 47 years, Carol, have been members of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX since 1988 where he has served as Deacon and Deacon Officer among other capacities. He is active in Christian missions work both in the U.S. and abroad through a ministry he founded under the name “The Master’s Foundation”. Currently, he is active in bringing education and services to the people of Uganda.


James E. ( Jeb ) Bradshaw Jr.
President, CLA USA

After graduating from University of Texas at Austin where he received a B.A. in Economics Jeb spent time with New York Life in Houston Gulf Coast office as a career agent. He held operational and management positions for Network Appliance Inc. and Auspex Systems as a Business Development Manager where he drove the sales growth of data storage systems for Latin American firms in the energy sector. As the Vice President of Operations for The Andrews Group International he represented many of the top U.S and European software and technology companies for their marketing and sales strategies in the Oil and Gas industry sector of Mexico.

Jeb returned the Financial Services industry and joined the CLA family of companies in 2001. With CLA Jeb has held the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing and has held the role of President since 2006. As President Jeb is responsible for the day to day operations, product due diligence and carrier relationships for the firm.
